I have D850 with Stock Marshmallow which keeps going to boot loop when unplugged from wall charger, after OTA upgrade. My phone is not rooted.
I followed the procedure to downgrade Stock image using Flashtool, however I'm getting "Model information check failed" error on the Flashtool. I'd selected "Upgrade DL" in action type.
Should I be using "Board DL" action type or is there anything else that I need to do to overcome this error?
I'm happy to root the phone and install TWRP & Cyanogen mod , if I have to. However, I can't find any posts to root D850 which is on Marshmallow.
